Mallory Woods is the 2019/2020 Youth Futures Education Fund Student Representative, founder of the Prepaid Therapy Collective and Into The Woods Coaching.
Mallory's work with youth, her personal journey, and her passion for public speaking combines to create engaging, impactful speeches.
With a focus on inspiring youth and the power of personal strength, Mallory shares her story of turning hardship into medicine as proof that young adults are the creators of their own lives.
"I want youth to know that regardless of abuse, depression, homelessness or fear, each of them have the capacity to actively create a life they are excited to be living. I want to share the story I needed to hear as a youth. That there is a path for them.
Mallory shares her story of overcoming abuse, mental illness, loss and illness with youth who need to hear that they too can recover, heal and feel hopeful about their lives.
Mallory also shares her story to advocate for the necessity of continued British Columbian Government funding for youth in and from care and the rights of youth.
Currently Mallory works with youth on Vancouver Island, often speaking in Vancouver and across the lower mainland. If you would like Mallory to share her story with your students, youth group, faculty, or team of social workers, please email: Mallorycoaching@gmail.com
