My Practice

During a time in my life when I had very little control over where I was living, who I was with or where my energy had to go, I quickly became unmotivated within my own story as well as compliant to being miserable within my lifestyle. For months I felt I had changed everything I could to make that step of my live livable and yet still I was heartbroken.

Away from my family and shifting through the loss of an old identity, I started looking at simple, daily practices that not only let me invest in my life, but also held me through a dark time.
Knowing I was doing my best, even when I could do very little, allowed me to work with my emotions instead of fighting against them and let me ride the wave that was necessary within that transformation rather then sinking into myself.
Here is a quick list of ways to engage in your life, and reflect on growing your best self.
