About the Workshop
Understanding Gender: An Introductory Workshop presents a look into contemporary ideas on gender, sex, identity, and bodies in an engaging, and concise manner. The workshop’s goal is to educate, on a complicated matter, in a simple way and to facilitate learning in a fun environment. If you are interested in exploring the world of personal identities, wanting to better support a loved one, create an inclusive organization, or looking to expand upon your own understanding of gender, I look forwards to seeing you there!
About the Facilitator
Understanding Gender: An Introductory Workshop is facilitated by non-binary, LGBTQ+ youth coach Mallory Woods (they/them*) and informed by both their life experience and years of university studies in the field of Women and Gender.
